Middle East — The Compliance Landscape
- Fire classification. Gulf façade projects commonly require A2-s1,d0 reaction-to-fire. TooFlexi panels are A2 (GB 8624) and can be specified to meet EN 13501-1 A2-s1,d0.
- Civil defence approval. Authorities such as Dubai Civil Defence review façade fire strategy and material evidence before approval.
- Saudi Arabia. The Saudi Building Code (SBC, aligned to NBC 2021) and SASO / SABER product registration govern imports; green rating runs through Mostadam.
- UAE green rating. Estidama (Abu Dhabi) and related systems reward low-embodied-carbon, durable materials — MCM’s light weight and long life help.
- Core safety. Polyethylene-core panels have been restricted for high-rise use across the region since ~2017; inorganic, non-combustible veneers are the safer specification.

Do you have SASO / SABER registration?
We do not currently hold SASO certification; Saudi imports require SABER product registration, which we can support documentarily per shipment. Discuss your project with our team.
